Carrier Will Support Building Talent Foundation’s Programs to Empower the Next Generation of HVAC Technicians
(Washington, DC) August 24, 2021 — Building Talent Foundation (BTF) announced a strategic collaboration with Carrier, a part of Carrier Global Corporation (NYSE: CARR), the leading global provider of healthy, safe, sustainable, and intelligent building and cold chain solutions.
Carrier joins BTF's 20 founding partners, the Leading Builders of America (LBA) companies, as a Scaling Partner. Working together, BTF and its partners strive to advance the sustainability of the sector's workforce. A sustainable workforce is comprised of people – women and men from all backgrounds; it is a workforce where an individual is recognized as such: where their employers and colleagues value them; are well-trained in skilled trades; engaged in the work they do; are resilient to changes in workplace circumstances; are kept safe and healthy while on the job; are diverse, coming from many ethnicities; and are treated well and with respect.
